Using You Tube and Movie Maker for classroom projects
This semester, my Spanish 20/30 students had the opportunity to work on the clothing and body part unit. After having practised reflexive verbs and practised new vocabulary, they were given the task to create a video commercial demonstrating what they have studied.
Here is the explanation for the project with rubric:

Estoy enfermo!
You are to make a mini 2 minute commercial on You tube / Movie Maker about:
Estoy enfermo! (I am sick)
Use the following vocabulary:
Me duele:
La cabeza, la garganta, tengo tos, tengo catarro, tengo fiebre!
Nesetitas el Tylenol, el dulce de Vics etc...
In your video, it will be a mini commercial with a doctor and patients or actors of your choice. The patient must describe his or her pain and the doctor will prescribe a solution!
